St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital has a dedicated mental health unit for people over 65 years of age, and an outpatient service for those in the perinatal period. Both services are located on the hospital campus, which is close to Perth’s city centre and boasts views across the Swan River.

The older adult mental health service, the Ursula Frayne Unit, provides treatment and inpatient programs to help manage mental health issues such as depression, grief, social isolation and dementia. The perinatal mental health service is accessible through the hospital’s Pregnancy, Baby & Beyond Clinic, and is available to support women and their families with specialist mental health care during pregnancy and the fourth trimester.
